Zidarics Ilona munkái elé!

 Zidarics Ilonka pályakezdése igazán parádésan indult. Diplomamunkáját nívódíjjal jutalmazták, serlegei az Ezüstgerely- pályázaton hoztak számára rangos elismerést. A II. Kecskeméti Zománcművészeti Alkotótelepen készített munkája az I. Miskolci Ötvös- és Fémműves Quadriennálén a díjazott alkotások között volt. Az ipari körülmények között megvalósítható, nagyméretű zománcburkolatokkal való foglalkozás egy jelentős megbízást eredményezett, a veszprémi Séd- filmszínház épületéhez kerülő szellőzőborítás formájában. Az 1982-ben megépült, hat méter magas kürtőrendszer ma is olyan érzést kelt szemlélőjében, hogy alkotója több, hasonló feladatot oldott már meg, míg eljutott ehhez a formai és technikai perfektséghez. Sajnos, nem adatott meg a továbbiakban ennek a tárgykörnek továbbépítése! Az életmű gazdagításához a diplomamunka keretében kivitelezett sportdíjak, illetve azok sikere kínált lehetőséget. Amíg erre igény volt, szép számmal készíthette trófeáit.

Szakmai érdeklődése a nyolcvanas évek vége felé markáns fordulatot vett, ékszerkészítésbe fogott, és folytatja napjainkig. Nem lenne Ilonka, ha valamely aktuális trend művelői közé állt volna. Ő ebben a néha lesajnált, vagyis félreértett műfajban is egyéni megoldást keresett. Vékony ezüstszálakból fonja-szövögeti ékszereit, helyenként rézhuzalokkal, vagy fémgyöngyökkel gazdagítva felületüket. Filigránjai, éppen úgy mint korábbi, egyéb munkái, csendes nyugodt munkatempójának köszönhetően, saját törvényei szerint alakulnak, épülnek. Remélhetőleg még számos bemutató alkalmával szereznek örömet annak a kiállítás-látogatónak, aki nemcsak a szokványos megoldások iránt érdeklődik.

To the works of Ms. Ilona Zidarics!

 

The career of Ms. Ilonka Zidarics started really brilliantly. Her diploma work was rewarded by „standard-prize”, her buckets gained precious appreciation on the competition “Silver Spear”. Her work made in the 2^nd Enamel Artistic Creative Workshop in Kecskemét was among the prize winning works of the 1^st Goldsmith and Filigree-worker Quadriennale in Miskolc. The dealing with large-sized enamel covers which can be manufactured under industrial circumstances resulted in a significant order in the form of a ventilating shaft cover of the Cinema “Séd” in Veszprém. The 6 m high flue-system built in 1982 even today gives the feeling to the spectator as if its creator had already solved several similar tasks er Huntil she achieved this formal and technical perfection. It is with regret that she could not further build this theme. The sport-prizes produced within the frame of the diploma work and their success afforded possibility for the enrichment of her life-work. While there was a demand for it, she could make her trophies in a good number.

There was a sharp turn in her professional interest at the end of the eighties, she began to make jewels and is doing it till now. She, of course, would not be Ilonka if she joined the adherents of one of the current trends, but she searched an individual solution even in this sometimes contempt or misunderstood artistic form. She spins and weaves her jewels out of silver threads, enriching their surfaces with copper wires and metal pearls. Owing to her calm and quiet rate of work, her filigrees just like her other earlier works are being formed according to her own principles. On the occasion of further exhibitions these works will hopefully give great pleasure to the visitors who are interested not only in the standard solutions.
